The English Teachers Association in Korea is a professional academic organization dedicated to researching both the theory and practice of English education. This association aims to promote the qualitative improvement of English education by integrating academic development and theories in the field with practical educational applications. Additionally, it seeks to enhance field research activities. To achieve these goals, the association publishes the Journal of English Language & Literature Teaching quarterly (in March, June, September, and December). The journal takes a broad perspective of the English language and literature teaching by covering many vibrant sectors such as English linguistics, general linguistics, English literature, and related disciplines including implications for English education. Papers should focus on critiques, experimental analyses, and new proposals related to the theory and practice of English education.
