Call for Papers 

The Journal of English Language & Literature Teaching is the official publication of the English Teachers Association in Korea (ETAK). ETAK publishes manuscripts of significant interest that contribute to the theoretical and practical basis of English education. ETAK’s broad scope and editorial polices create accessible, thought-provoking content for the general academic community of English education.

* Paper Submission Deadlines: January 15, April 15, July 15, October 15

* Submit Papers: https://etak.jams.or.kr (Registration required before submission)

* Submission of <Author Information Form> and <Ethics Agreement>: etak21@naver.com (In the case of co-authors, the author information and ethics agreement should be completed for each author)

* Review Fee: KRW 60,000 (Nonghyup 351-0261-5617-23, Account Holder: Korea Association of English Language and Literature Education). Notify the financial director (etak2014@naver.com) after the payment of the review fee.

*Urgent Paper Review: Review results will be notified within 10 days after submission (After submitting the paper, inform etak21@naver.com, review fee is KRW 200,000)

{Notes for Paper Submission}

1. This journal only accepts papers written in accordance with the <Submission Guidelines> of the association. Please refer to the attached <Editing Guidelines> for writing instructions.

① Manuscripts should be written in “MS Word”.

② The English abstract should be within 200 words. (Indicate the word count in parentheses)

③ References should follow the association's format (based on APA 7th edition).

④ For details regarding tables, figures, footnotes, and other specifications, please refer to the <Submission Guidelines>.

2. Please strictly adhere to the <Research Ethics Guidelines> when submitting your paper.

① Use ‘KCI Similarity Check’ or ‘Copy Killer (www.copykiller.org)’ to conduct a self-examination of the submitted paper, ensuring a plagiarism rate of 10% or less.

② If the submitted paper is part of a thesis or dissertation, please clearly state this.

3. Delete the author information on the first and last pages of the submitted paper.

4. Only members are allowed to submit papers. 

All authors, including co-authors and corresponding authors, must be registered as members and have paid the annual membership fee before the review process begins. Paid review fees are non-refundable.

The standard length of a paper is 20 pages. (Publication Fee: KRW 200,000 for regular papers, KRW 300,000 for research-supported papers - additional fee of KRW 10,000 per page beyond the standard length)
